All of our beliefs and convictions are derived from the Bible. The Bible is our final and ultimate authority. Our doctrines and distinctives are not original to us, but come to us from the historic and reformed faith. The celebration of the sovereign grace of God is rooted in the Reformation itself. We are an old soul theology in a modern context. What we do as a church is driven by what we believe.
Grace Church is a growing church plant in the Swansboro, NC area. Our desire is to see people come to know and rejoice in God’s amazing grace in Jesus Christ. We also desire to live Christ-centered lives that are marked by faith, known by love, and proclaim hope.
We are a reformed church that holds to the historic truths of the Christian faith.
Grace Church a gathering of ordinary people who have been deeply impacted by the good news of the gospel, and we desire to be a church that is devoted to God’s glory, loves people sacrificially, and brings healing and hope to our community, state, nation, and world.
The church is not a place or building; the church is God’s people. We gather as the church for worship and we go out as the church for service, seeking to spread the good news of God’s grace and love in Jesus.
Although Gillespie Avenue Baptist Church and the surrounding community has undergone changes over time, we hold to certain core values:
Christ exalting worship, a Bible-shaped spirituality, and Gospel intentionality.
It is our desire to express these core values through living out our mission statement, which is to be a church who loves God, serves people, and makes disciples.
Meeting people where they are and helping them to become fully devoted followers of Christ
