We believe in a God the Father Almighty
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the only begotten son of God,
born of the Father before all ages,
Light from light,
true God from true God,
begotten not made;
made like unto the Father,
by whom all things were made.
Who came down from heaven for us men and for our daily salvation,
and was made flesh by the Holy Ghost and Mary the Virgin,
and incarnate,
and crucified for us by Pontius Pilate,
and died and was buried,
and rose again the third day according to the scriptures,
and ascended into heaven,
and sat at the right hand of the Father,
and coming again after glory to judge the living and the dead,
and the kingdom shall have no end.
And to the Holy Ghost, the Lord and the Life-giver,
which proceedeth from the Father,
and with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified.
Which they have spoken through the prophets.

we confess in baptism for the remission of sins.
we look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the age to come. Amen.
