Reformation Day

We Are Reformed

Reformation day, or halloween for others, marks the day in 1517 when Martin Luther (1483-1546) strode up to the church in Wittenburg and nailed his 95 ‘theses’ (or propositions) to the church door.

Luther chose to do this on October 31st because he knew the church would be full on the next day for All Saints’ Day.

Take time today to reflect on the impact of Luther’s actions and how we, as a church, have benefited from the Reformation thanks to those who rose up to challenge false teachings.
